Trick or Treat at Indian Lake Campground

Today was trick or treat at the Indian Lake State Park Campground. I almost did not take the kids because it was wicked windy and only 42* with sprinkles off and on...but we headed over there with the understanding that if it rained we were not gonna do it. Well it rained the whole drive over there but no rain around the lake. All three kids did good and I think they were warm enough...Dylan actually asked me to take some of his clothes off from under his costume. Dylan pooped out after about an hour so we split from Carter, Shell and Paul and started trick or treating our way back to the van. It's amazing how much candy they got. I did not take the wagon this year...I think that slowed us way down last year with all the getting in an out, and I don't think Dylan would have liked sitting on his tail any ways. Despite the cold we had fun and it was fun to see all the different costumes and Halloween displays that the campers did on their sites. I don't think it was nearly as crowded as last year...but with the weather that's understandable. So now I get to look forward to a month of kids that are totally "sugared up"!! Bellefontaines trick or treat is next Thursday I think, and If we go to Michigan again this year.....oh boy....can you say "HYPER"!!! :o) Happy Halloween!!! xo Julie

Toothless Jenny

Ok....we have a big girl on our hands. Mackenzie lost her first tooth while I was at work today. I guess she just pulled it out while she was messin with it...it was pretty loose. Mac said she turned all white and looked like she wanted to cry and told him that she was dizzy....so he told her to lay down and he would get her a cold cloth and some ice water. The pic I took was how I found her when I got home from work...Mac was cracking up re telling the story.....so I guess I need to e mail the tooth fairy...I wonder what the going rate for teeth is these days. I think it was .50 and $1.00 when I was little....and I'm sure it has gone up :0) :0) xoxo Julie
